By contrast, I once spoke with a native Spanish speaker who told me she could not hear the difference between "ch" and "sh", e.g. ship and chip sounded the same to her. My question in short is "what sounds in Arabic do I really need to make sure I distinguish correctly?" Or "What queenwin casino login sounds can I get away with treating the same?" My friend can't hear the difference between any of the three of them. We're having a bit of a hard time with the three letters that have the closest approximation of the English "h".

Need help telling the difference between ح and ه!
I am tempted to treat all sounds in each row as the letter I have put in bold; so, for example, when I hear the letters on row 3, they all sound like an English "th" to me. Now, in my opinion, this IS an important sound to distinguish in English, and I would strongly recommend that anyone learning English learn to distinguish hearing/making these different sounds, or misunderstandings will arise. By practicing these tips and using the recommended resources, you should be able to master the difference between ح and ه in Arabic. When they say words like حبيبي or اهلا I cannot hear the difference between the ha sounds. It is important to get right, and makes me appreciate more the need to focus on the different sounds in Arabic, though whether that focus needs to come sooner or later for some of them remains unclear Having thought about it more I can now clearly distinguish between the two TH sounds in English, and I now feel differently about it.
How to pronounce the letter ح ?

Does anyone have any advice on how to manage to pronounce the letter ح ? Everyone warned me about ع, but honestly I'm able to pronounce it without issue 95% of the time. Like I‘ve seen 3, 7, 9 but what would the latin letter counterpart be?
